Title: UX Designer

 

Reporting to: VP, Platform & Experience

 

Location: This is a remote / work from home position

 

Opportunity:

The UX Designer will be an integral member of the user experience team and will be leading design initiatives across Get Well’s platform of products.  This individual will engage with teams across all disciplines to ensure we deliver innovative products and services that address valuable opportunities for patients and care staff.  The UX Designer will also plan, facilitate, and lead sessions related to user research, user experience, and interactive prototyping. 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with Product Management and Development teams to strategize a discovery and design plan to execute against
  • Add to our UI design system to bring a consistent look and feel to all Get Well products
  • Lead discovery and ideation sessions to help understand the user, business, and client needs
  • Create and provide UX deliverables including lo-fi wireframes, hi-fi mock-ups, and clickable prototypes
  • Apply user-centered design methods to develop user interface specifications such as interaction models and workflows
  • Help define design value by identifying user needs, actions, behaviors, and emotions
  • Effectively communicate ideas, opportunities, and detail interaction to internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct usability testing and synthesize results to steer actionable improvements to UX design
  • Conduct audits and heuristic evaluation on existing product workflower
  • Incorporate success metrics into design decisions to assess impact and iteration opportunities

  

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Graphic Design, User Interaction, Human-Centered Design, Advertising or a related field
  • 5+ years of UX experience
  • Experience with rapid prototyping in one or more tools (i.e. Figma, Adobe XD)
  • Experience working with product managers and engineering teams to design and launch mobile applications for iOS, Android, and web
  • Graphic design skills are a plus, including: color theory, grid system, publishing, illustration, copywriting, animation, etc.
  • Ability to proactively identify opportunities and problems to solve that are valuable to users and customers
  • Ability to take a concept through multiple concept iterations into a final design implementation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about excellence and attention to detail
  • Adhere to all organizational information security policies and protect all sensitive information including but not limited to ePHI and PHI in accordance with organizational policy and Federal, State, and local regulations

The estimated pay scale for this position is between $90,000 and $100,000 in base salary, plus annual bonus potential of 10%. Base salary is dependent upon many factors including, but not limited to, education, experience, and skills and this range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
