Responsibilities

Own the pod's number, with the pod

  • Build the pod's financial plan with the CRO: target, pipeline coverage, and priority accounts.
  • Run the pod's forecast and pipeline review, call the number to the CRO, and flag gaps early with a plan to close them.
  • Hold the pod to clean CRM data so its forecast stands up to inspection.

Sell as a player-coach

  • Personally carry the pod's most strategic or complex opportunities, from first meeting to signature.
  • Model the pod's sales motion on live deals: discovery, business case, executive alignment and negotiation.

Raise the pod's game without managing it

  • Lead deal reviews and account plans for the pod's top opportunities.
  • Coach sellers on live deals and spread what wins: talk tracks, proof points, competitive positioning.
  • Help new pod members ramp on the pod's market, accounts and motion.
  • Give the CRO regular, specific input on each pod member's performance and development.

Orchestrate the people around the pod

  • Pull in solutions engineering, implementation, RevOps and Marketing where they advance an opportunity.
  • Point Marketing campaigns and business development outreach at the pod's target accounts.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align sales efforts with company objectives.
  • Provide feedback and insights from the field to help improve product offerings and sales strategies.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in B2B enterprise software sales, with a record of meeting or beating quota.
  • Closed complex, multi-stakeholder deals with clinical, operational, financial and IT buyers, up to the C-suite.
  • Led without authority: as a deal team lead, player-coach, team lead or front-line manager.
  • Forecast and pipeline discipline: can call a number and defend it deal by deal.
  • Builds a clear business case and ROI story, in writing and in the room.
  • Skills and Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulations, workflows, and technology needs.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and other key stakeholders.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Adhere to all organizational information security policies and protect all sensitive information including but not limited to ePHI and PHI in accordance with organizational policy and Federal, State, and local regulations.

Even Better

  • Healthcare technology sales into the pod's market: hospitals and health systems.
  • Knows the space the pod sells into: smart room and patient engagement.
  • Proven success in a “Hunter”, New Business capacity.
  • Uses a qualification framework such as MEDDICC, Miller-Heimann, and a CRM such as Salesforce.

About You

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven track record of sales success driving revenue through discovering, prospecting, creating new business and attaining/exceeding assigned quota.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
